We are taking precautions for our staff and also for our customers.
Our staff have personal protective equipment, we modified and increase our cleaning procedures, implemented a Covid safety protocol, installed Plexi glass, sanitize carts and trays after each customers and we have hand wash stations in every location.
We are extremely busy, please be patient with us.
We ask our customers to have all refundable pre-sorted & counted per types and sizes in CLEAR bags and/or boxes to reduce the amount of handling for our staff and speed up the process. Also, keep in mind, there is NO INSIDE sorting. We are looking forward to see you soon.

Recycling starts here! Since day one, it has been our goal to build recycling and bottle depots around the island to make recycling a more convenient and easy part of your lifestyle. Our recycling centres offer customers a bright, clean and well-organized way to recycle on Vancouver Island.
We offer a variety of recycling services in multiple locations to meet your needs. We’ve expanded our programs beyond bottles and cans to help serve better save the communities we work in! We now offer recycling services for small appliances, electronics, smoke alarms, batteries and light bulbs. We also recycle old paint, power tools and a wide variety of packaging. It is our mission to continue to be forward thinking with our recycling services.
Over the years, we have expanded from our first location in the Cowichan Valley to five locations all across Vancouver Island. We are happy to serve you at our recycling centres in Duncan, Campbell River, Salt Spring Island, and South Cowichan (Sidney is under new ownership since July 2020, and Esquimalt since September 2023).
