Recycle Your Lights, Lamps & Lighting Fixtures
Not sure how to dispose of your burnt out or broken light bulbs? It is very common for light bulbs to end up in landfills at the end of their lifespan, but did you know that they could be recycled? We recycle light bulbs at our Campbell River, Cobble Hill, Duncan and Esquimalt locations!
We accept a wide variety of light bulbs and even light fixtures including fluorescent tubes, UV and germicidal lamps, incandescent bulbs, as well as bike lights, floor lamps and even chandeliers. We can also take broken bulbs as long as they are delivered in a sealed container.

- UV and germicidal lamps.
- Incandescent and halogen bulbs.

- High-intensity discharge lamps (HIDs).
To be accepted for recycling under the light fixtures program, the primary purpose of the product must be for the illumination of space. Therefore, products that have a different primary purpose, but include a light feature as well, are not accepted.

- Artificial trees with integrated lights
- Auto fixtures
- Decorative key chains with integrated lights
- Decorative sculptures and statues with one or more integrated lights, where the primary purpose of the product is decorative and the lights are designed to light the decoration itself and not to illuminate surrounding space
- Fencing with integrated lights
- Garlands with integrated lights
- Holiday decorations (other than string lights and stake lights), such as jack-o-lanterns, decorative sculptures, and plastic Santas
- Horticultural lighting fixtures such as greenhouse or grow lamp fixtures
- Lava lamps
- Vanity mirrors with lights
